God is doing what a wonderful new work across the earth through what John Paul II has called the "new evangelization". He stated, "The moment has come to commit all the church's energies to a new evangelization." He prophesied in his teachings that this new evanelization would be "new in ardor, methods, and expression". Many of our Protestant brothers and sisters are saying the same thing about a coming new era of evangelization. SC Ablaze and you are called to be a part of it.

With beginnings at the turn of the 20th century, and fresh outpourings in 1967 and in mid-1990's, and early 2000's the power of God for personal conversion, holiness,and evangelization is being unleashed. The river of God is rising across the earth and we believe that in the end His Glory will cover the earth. For those who desperately seek His mercy and His power in their lives He is pouring out the Fire of the Holy Spirit in new and surprising ways. "Whenever the Spirit intervenes, he leaves people astonished. He brings about events of amazing newness; he radically changes persons and history. (John Paul II's address to the World Congress of Ecclesial Movements and New Communities on Pentecost 1998 )". Are you hungry for God? Are you thirsty for more of His Spirit? Do you want the living waters? Do you want the Holy Spirit to intervene in your life or the life of your church and leave you astonished? Would you like to see events of amazing newness? Would you like to see your life, and history itself radically changed?

All across the earth fountains of living water are springing forth. Is this a new surprise of the Holy Spirit? We think so. This is taking place, USA, UK, Sri Lanka, India, Australia, Africa, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Asia. Across all lines and barriers.

A few things are necessary:
1. Willingness to grow in personal holiness and to get rid of the sin.
2. A laying aside of our plans and agenda and
3. A thirsting for His work,
4. However He chooses to manifest it.
If you are Catholic He is calling you to embrace with your entire heart, soul, mind, and strength the teachings of the Catholic Church in the midst of this Pentecostal outpouring. The truths we have, coupled with the power of Pentecost can turn the world upside down. If you are not Catholic he is calling you to embrace this Pentecostal outpouring with all your heart as well. This move of God is breathing renewed life into the truths of the Church, such as the power of the Sacrament of Reconciliation, the awesome Presense of Jesus in the Eucharist, a stirring up of the "sanctifying" gifts of the Holy Spirit, a new depth in the use of the "charismatic" gifts, a renewed sense of excitement about worship meetings meetings and much more.

Are you willing to participate in this revival? Are you humble enough to admit your need and cry out for it? Many in the body of Christ are praying for revival. God wants to do it. Are you willing to let the Holy Spirit make you holy? Are you willing to let the Lord show you your sinfulness? Are you willing to make the Lord more important than other's opinions? Will you let go of structures that used to work but no longer do? If so the revival can come through you. Please join us in praying for revival, first in our own hearts and then all over the world.
Over the past decade we have held over a hundred revival meetings, particpated in mission trips, sponsored Catholic clergy to renewal conferences, provided financial assistance after natural disasters, and have spoken widely about the New Evangelization prophesied by Pope John Paul II. The mission of South Carolina Ablaze ("SC Ablaze") is equip God's people to effectively live and witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the midst of a dying world. SC Ablaze will preach and teach the Word of God and minister under the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit wherever and whenever led and in accordance with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and the exhortations of its leaders. We will support and encourage the clergy both spiritually and materially, provide material and spiritual assistance to the poor, and assist those who have suffered because of natural or man made disasters.
